Jones Nhinson Williams is a managing partner and senior consultant at Kennedy & Williams, LLC.  He is a Liberian citizen with residency in Liberia, Europe, and the United States. Williams studied for the Catholic priesthood at St. Kizito’s and St. Paul’s Catholic seminaries where he majored in philosophy, sociology, and cultural anthropology in addition to global and scriptural studies. He also holds graduate degrees, including one in international management (currently known as Executive MPA) with a focus on public policy and financial management from New York University (NYU) Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.   


He has worked in the public, nonprofit and private sectors, including serving as Senior Salary Analyst at the U.S. State of Maryland’s Department of Budget and Management;  Family Investment Specialist for Cecil County, Maryland’s DHR’s Family Investment Administration; Chief of Industry and Occupational Projections, State of Maryland; State of Maryland’s Chief Information Officer to the U.S. Census Bureau; Labor Market Information Manager for the State of Maryland; Maryland State Administrator for the (U.S.) Bureau of Labor Statistics programs; and as a Resettlement and Integration Program Director of the renowned U.S.- based Jewish Family Services’ Émigré /international refugee program among some international careers he has had. 

He also served as Chairman of the International Food Security Taskforce; Chairman of the Board of Directors for the U.S.-based nonprofit “Invest In Family;” Member of the State of Maryland’s Researchers Roundtable; Member, Products and Innovation Committee, U.S. Industry and Occupational Projections Managing Partnership (PMP); and as Strategic Policy Advisor, United Nations-backed National Commission on Disarmament, De-Mobilization and Reintegration (NCDDR), Republic of Liberia. He has traveled extensively throughout Africa, in the Caribbean, Europe, North America, South America and some parts of Asia.  He has done extensive consulting work in Africa, Europe, and North America, and is highly respected in Africa and international circles. He is a family man and father of two daughters.
